Updates are a fact of life in the world of technology, and your website is no exception! The WordPress team works constantly to add improvements and new features to the core of your WordPress website. Likewise, the plugins on your site get regular updates to keep the code safe and functional. Outdated plugins are the #1 cause of site hacks.
monitoring & security
I’ll use my special bag of tricks to keep tabs on your site, scanning for potential malware problems as well as up/downtime, catching any possibly issues (plugin vulnerabilities, malicious code, etc) before they blow up.
Website backups
All my care plans include full site backups, which are the most important thing you can have on hand in case of a site hack or malware invasion. Having your site backed up and stored externally also simplifies things if you want to migrate, archive, or restore it.
Website optimization
An optimized site is a fast and well-performing site. Just as extra files and unused code junk can slow down your computer, your site’s database can fill up with old page revisions, ancient plugin settings, and other tech sludge. Likewise, your site images need to be compressed in size to keep your pages loading quickly. I’ll keep things clean for you!
monthly reporting
Not everyone has time or inclination to weed through all the stats and data about website performance, traffic, visitor data, device usage, etc, etc. But if you want it, I can provide a useful summary of what’s happening on the site, and what work I’ve been doing to keep it going.
Priority Support
Maintenance clients go to the top of my list for dealing with urgent issues and small fixes. For other questions or issues, I generally will get back to you within 24 hours (on business days) to determine a strategy for taking care of any problems or tackling new updates.
